Basileus TFW Shaft
The Basileus TFW Shaft has been developed from a decade of accumulated user data, leading to optimized AB-MAP positioning. For lighter-weight golfers, it emphasizes speed and flex, while for heavier-weight golfers, it offers a firm feel at impact. This fairway wood (FW) specific design aims to provide an optimal solution for a broader range of users.
With 10 years of user data, this shaft is designed to be easily matched with various driver shafts. The TFW aims to make your fairway wood a reliable tool.
Concept
The TFW utilizes an AB-MAP flow system where its classification varies by weight category: the lightweight 45 series is a "C", the mid-weight 55 series is an "A/C boundary type", and the mid to heavy 65/75/85 series are "B/D boundary types." This positioning system, tailored to target users by weight, aims to expand the possibilities for golfers to refine their fairway woods.
A key functional feature is the extended shaft cutting range at the tip, up to a maximum of 2.5 inches, offering significant adjustment flexibility for club fitters. To facilitate this, the shaft is designed with a no-cut length of 45 inches, which is one inch longer than Basileus's usual standard for no-cut shafts. Its adaptable functionality, designed to match various other shafts, and a comprehensive lineup make it a reliable choice that can address specific golfer preferences.
