Basileus Tri:Fiamma Shaft
The Basileus Tri:Fiamma Shaft marks a significant evolution, representing the third generation in its series and a decade of development. The "Tri" in its name encapsulates the idea of "TRIαS" (a nod to the Basileus α), "TRI" (three, for the third generation), and "TRY" (a challenge). This shaft aims to ignite a passion for distance in golfers who pursue athletic performance.
Concept
Classified as an "A" type on the AB map, the Tri:Fiamma is engineered for golfers who control the shaft through their swing tempo and rhythm. Its design emphasizes stability in the mid-to-handle section. While inheriting the core concept of the previous Fiamma series, this new standard design primarily uses PAN-based 50t carbon fiber, aiming for a balance of low torque and a comfortable flex.
With a slightly higher C/B value of 0.66 (60/S) due to increased rigidity in the mid-section, the shaft is designed to prevent lag in the hands, potentially suiting golfers with a quicker swing tempo. This rigidity from the handle to the mid-section is also intended to allow for a more pronounced acceleration feel in the tip. The T/C value of 0.50 (60/S) indicates a design that aims to provide propulsion to the clubhead and promote a reliable connection with the ball. The Tri:Fiamma is designed for athletes focused on distance, providing a distinct responsiveness in both the handle and tip sections, aiming for solid ball contact and high initial ball speed.
