It aims to deliver a controlled, high-trajectory shot, making it a reliable choice for players who prioritize getting the ball airborne and hitting the center of the face.
The iron incorporates multiple technologies focused on optimizing ball speed and forgiveness:
ULTiFLEX (Face): The use of high-strength, new material "VR-Titanium" allows for a significant thinning of the face, particularly toward the toe side. This thin area is designed to flex greatly and creates excess weight that is then redistributed to optimize performance.
New Cavity Structure: Excess weight is created by expanding the cavity on the heel side and slimming down the neck structure. This freed-up mass is strategically used in the sole for weighting.
High-Density Tungsten-Nickel Weight: A heavy tungsten-nickel weight is placed even lower in the body than in previous models. This strategic positioning achieves a lower and more center of gravity, promoting a high launch angle and higher initial ball speed.
L-Shaped Groove for Flex: This design is positioned lower than previous models, and its rigidity has been reduced. This allows the face to flex significantly upon impact, maximizing the rebound effect (the "Soft" section).
Energy Loss Suppression: The rear of the body has been reinforced for increased rigidity (the "Hard" section). This firm area efficiently receives and stops the energy from the flexing face, ensuring minimal energy loss to maintain ball speed.

Top Blade: The top edge of the iron head has a gentle curve or roundness.
Goose Neck: The hosel is designed with a slight goose neck (offset), which encourages the feeling of the clubface closing and helps the golfer visualize catching the ball squarely.
