Introducing Mizuno ST-Z 220 Driver. THE NEXT GENERATION - High initial velocity x low spin x draw bias. High initial velocity forged β titanium, which is said to be a forbidden material. The new core tech face design that conforms to the rules is a sweet area expansion technology to maximize the flight distance. The stability that is hard to shake at high initial velocity has also been improved.

The total area of carbon has been increased by about 40% from the previous work. Achieved expansion of the sweet area by giving the surplus weight to the back weight. In addition to high initial velocity and low spin, we pursued high stability.
Back Center Weight - Low spin design with a weight of 13g placed in the back center. By deepening the depth of the center of gravity and expanding the moment of inertia, we have suppressed blurring at the time of impact and pursued high straightness and stability.
Forged β titanium
For the face material, "Forged β Titanium Alloy (2041Ti)", which is about 17% stronger and about 8% more flexible than general titanium alloy (6Al-4V), is used.
Improved resilience performance - Core Tech Face
Mizuno's original face thickness design amplifies the deflection of the face by giving thickness to the center of the face and thinning the periphery of the face. Demonstrates high resilience performance within the rules over a wide range of faces.
Pursuing good grip - Square Strike Design
In ST-X 220 and ST-Z 220, the moment of inertia is increased (the sweet area is increased) to reduce the flight distance loss due to the blurring of the hitting point, but the center of gravity distance is set slightly shorter. By achieving both "expansion of the sweet area" and "easiness of returning the head", which are contradictory to each other, the head and the ball are more likely to collide head-on, and we pursued good grip.
Wave Technology Sole
At the time of impact, the ball is bent from around the face and the amount of bending is increased to increase the initial velocity of the ball.
Harmonic Impact Technology
Pursuing a comfortable hitting sound and feeling even for wood using the latest technology. The pitch, volume, and tone that affect the hitting sound and feel are tuned in units of tens of hertz. This Mizuno original design method creates a comfortable feel that is unique to Mizuno.
