Introducing the S-Trixx Valmer BBX Shaft, an innovative evolution in big-butt shaft design. This shaft is meticulously engineered to help golfers achieve significant distance gains by optimizing longer club builds.
At the core of the Valmer BBX's design is its ability to maximize power transfer. We've achieved this by increasing the butt diameter, which effectively stabilizes the grip section. This enhanced stability minimizes any unwanted movement in the hands during your swing, ensuring a more consistent and powerful delivery of energy. Further down the shaft, the tip section incorporates a unique composite of titanium-nickel alloy wire. This advanced material plays a crucial role in suppressing excess spin, allowing your swing energy to be more efficiently transferred directly to the ball, resulting in noticeably longer and more penetrating shots.
Important for Optimal Performance
To truly unlock the exceptional distance capabilities of the Valmer BBX series, it's vital to understand its specific design philosophy. The performance of this shaft heavily relies on the precise movement of its tip section. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you do not tip-cut any shaft in the BBX series. We've anticipated this requirement and, to ensure a perfect fit for every golfer, the BBX series offers an extensive range of flex options, from BBX-01 all the way to XXX. This wide selection means you can find the ideal flex without needing to alter the shaft's critical tip section.
For enhanced stability, especially when building longer clubs, the BBX series features a robust big-butt design. For example, the BBX-01 boasts a butt diameter of 16.65mm. To further minimize the need for any alterations, the shaft is provided at a generous total length of 1194mm (47 inches), allowing for precise club building with minimal butt-cutting.
Please be aware that the final maximum club length when installing a BBX series shaft can vary. This will depend on the specific shape of your club head and neck. For optimal performance and to experience the full benefits of this shaft, we recommend building your club to a length between 46.5 and 47 inches.
