Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square #7 Putter - JDM Version

The Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square #7 is designed to simplify putting mechanics by prioritizing a square face angle throughout the entire stroke.

The central feature of this design is its "Toe Up" balance, which becomes apparent when the putter is placed on a flat surface. To achieve this, the shaft is installed with a 3.3-degree forward lean directly into the head's center of gravity (onset), and the sole weighting is biased heavily toward the heel (approximately 25g in the heel versus 5g in the toe). This configuration naturally guides the golfer into a hand-first setup and reduces resistance during the takeaway.

By maintaining this balance, the putter head is engineered to resist twisting, making it easier to execute a "straight-back, straight-through" path. The design aims to keep the head tracking on the target line automatically, allowing the face to return to square at impact with minimal manual manipulation.

The face is equipped with the Ai-ONE insert, which utilizes an AI-designed variable thickness pattern. This technology helps maintain ball speed even when the sweet spot is missed, ensuring consistent distance control. A polycarbonate window on the back of the head reveals the contours of the insert's aluminum backing.

The build is completed with the Stroke Lab 90 shaft. While made entirely of steel, it remains in the 90-gram weight range and includes a counterweight in the grip end. This combination of a lighter shaft and heavier head/grip increases the overall moment of inertia for a stable, consistent tempo.
