Titleist-710-Iron-Series

New Titleist 710 Irons 710MB – 710CB – 710AP2 Irons Images have been spotted and big props to Golf WRX for another great and exciting find for Titleist fans!

The Titleist 710MB is a their new muscle back blade design that appears to have mass reduced below the top line and repositioned closer to the sole. This appears to be an attempt to make it a more user friendly design with a more forgiveness in the hitting zone and perhaps even a slightly higher ball flight. It’s till a classic blade design very clean and simple so expect most of Titleist’s PGA  players to be sporting this model on the big Tour. Forged 1020 carbon steel.

The new 2009 Titleist 710CB Forged Irons look pretty slick also with minimal offset a fairly thin sole and a good amount of perimeter weighting.  The heel to toe doesnt look very long and overall the club has a compact feel with rounded accents implemented especially in it’s topline . Titleist did a great job with this 710 CB  iron.

The Titleist 710 AP2 is the brand’s most forgiving forged cavity back design to become available in 2010. It looks fairly similar the the previous AP2 but this one was said to have a wider sole, longer heel to toe length while maintaining a fairly compact topline and overall profile among some other aesthetic changes.

These are awesome and they will be in my bag as soon as hey are out if not before. Hopefully Japan will get them prior to the USA . Anyone know where Titleist has there clubs forged? Do they have there Tour sets forged by Muira or at a place besides where there retail sets are made? I played the 735’s before and they were great so I cant imagine how these are going to be ! I cant wait.

Love the 735cm – have been playing them for 3 yrs, my index is 3.8. I am buying one of these 3 sets!!! Anyone have advice on which one I should get? I was thinking of making my own combo set (3-6 CB and then 7-P MB).

they are not doing a split set, it is 7 iron minimum order, so you have to choose, I have been for a fitting today and wanted the split set, gutted

these irons are great. give me great control on draws and fades, however, if you are not a solid ball striker, dont get these as you will never hit a ball straight.

Call me crazy but I was thinking of trying to get a combo set made up of 4-5 AP2,
    6-8 CB and 9-PW MB. I’m a 3.2 index. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!!

@Jeff Cox:Jeff, I am not sure but I believe you will have a gap in distance between all these combinations. I think you should try to figure out whether you like the cb or the mb best and then stay with it all the way up to I5 before you change for AP2.

I am planning to buy a full set of MB but I will keep mu old DCI 990 in case they are to dificult to handle, my index is 3,9. Any thoughts?

Recommending going to a titleist fitting centre and getting full analysis, i ended up getting 3-5 in CB and 6-pw in MB, perfect combo for my ability, handicap 6
