Taking design cues from its cousin, the Newport 2, Scotty’s Squareback resurrects a time-honored name with a Tour-inspired milled sight line in favor of the pop-through alignment features present in the previous line’s Mallet 2. A weight-saving single bend shaft gives unfettered visual access from address to this angular mid-mallet model with mechanical lines, making alignment easier than ever. The aircraft grade aluminum face-sole extends the Select family’s multi-material methodology while the radius milling has been refined with softer contours, subtle shape improvements and up to 30% more vibration dampening material for improved feel and feedback.

FOUR-WAY SOLE BALANCING

The putter’s stance has been re-engineered to account for the weight of the shaft and grip via subtle re-distribution of the sole’s balance point from heel-to-toe and face-to-cavity so the putter sits squarely and aligns perfectly at address.
