Shimada is a premium Japanese golf shaft maker specializing in top quality steel shafts. All made in Japan, Shimada prides itself in creating consistent, premium top performing shafts that satisfy even the top tour pros. The K's 8001 is designed to consistently produce a tight shot dispersion for the aggressive swing types.

To maximize its properties, each shaft is heated to 880°C and then reheated to 295°C. Other factors are trade secrets but result in Shimada shafts returning to their natural state quicker than its competitors. The end result is a shaft that feels strong but with a soft feel.
