The TENSEI™ CK Series Pro Orange profile is a counter balanced low-launch, tip stiff profile.
TENSEI™ CK Pro Orange expands the TENSEI™ CK Series – which features a multi-material design that incorporates more performance-oriented materials than we’ve ever used in a shaft. This first of it’s kind bend profile for MCA GOLF uses a counter-balanced design along with an extreme tip-stiff design to provided added versatility for the stronger player. The TENSEI™ CK Pro Orange incorporates the same Carbon Fiber/DuPont™ Kevlar® (CK) weave found in the butt-section of all TENSEI CK shafts – providing enhanced stability and maximum feel in this highly versatile design. This series also incorporates High Modulus, premium 40-Ton hybrid prepreg infused with tungsten powder in targeted positions throughout the shaft. A tip-section reinforced with MR70 – Mitsubishi Chemical’s strongest carbon fiber to date, delivers lower torque, and delivers tour preferred control and stability.

A Carbon Fiber/DuPont™ Kevlar® (CK) woven material; featuring Mitsubishi Chemical carbon fiber has been strategically placed under the hands to increase the strength and stability in the butt-section of the shaft in addition to providing superior feel and feedback throughout the swing.
Low Resin Content (L.R.C.) Prepreg
Our Low Resin Content (L.R.C.) Prepreg, with up to 15% more carbon fiber and 13% less resin than traditional prepregs allows us to create a higher density of carbon fibers without adding additional weight. The Result: Added strength with enhanced feel.

Specifically designed and developed by Mitsubishi Chemical for high-performance applications, MR70 is an innovative new carbon fiber material that is 20% stronger and has 10% the modulus than conventional materials.
High Balance Point
Incorporating Tungsten Powder in strategic locations throughout the butt-section of the shaft we raised the balance point of the TENSEI™ CK Pro Orange profile. Raising the balance point creates the potential for lighter swing weights, increased head-speed and distance.
A major innovation for 2015 from the labs in Toyohashi, Japan is our use of resin-infused prepreg with tungsten powder, a very heavy and dense powder. Wrapping tungsten-infused resin sheets in the butt-section moves the center of gravity towards the butt of the shaft, without making the shaft more rigid. The higher balance point means greater flexibility in building the shaft at any length while keeping the same effective feel.
