BOOST UP HEAD
The new GT F-715 fairway wood features a new Boost Head design which places a single heavy weight in the back of the sole to increase launch and forgiveness. The standard 12g Launch Boost SWS weight equals 5% of the total head weight. This can be increased by adding an additional SWS GT Stabilizer weight up to 7g (sold separately) on the inside of the Launch Boost SWS weight. The heavier head, deeper center of gravity will create more energy transfer efficiency and an even wider sweet spot. This creates great flexibility for head weight and club length manipulation as well as launch and CG movement.
SWAP OUT THE SHAFT
The new 2015 series GT woods all feature the new GT Variable Hosel Adapter which allows players to change shafts on the fly. This allows you to fine tune the length with a shorter or longer shaft when making changes with the Launch Boost SWS weight.
At 10cc larger than the previous GT model, the F-715’s Boost Head design allows for the weight to be more evenly distributed creating increased MOI and a much larger sweet spot than any previous GT FW. The wide heel to toe satin face creates a sense of security at address.
GROOVE SOLE TECHNOLOGY
The new groove sole design which stretches from heel to toe immediately in front of the face, increases the face deflection at impact. The result is faster ball speeds and increased stability thanks to the subtle curve in the groove.
