Geotech 2014 Quelot RE14 Fairway Wood
The dream of all golfers for more distance. It's been 14 years since the Quelot brand first came to life in 2000. Over the years, it's technological evolution has advanced in parallel with innovations at Geotech, all with a focus on distance performance. Thoroughly embraced by the recreational golfer who with Quelot not only dream of more distance by experience it as a reality.
The Quelot RE14 series is the next step to a new level of distance and performance. The Quelot RE14 Fairway wood is designed to help golfers achieve real distance gains. A combination of the right materials and the right design create an easy to use fairway wood that takes the pressure off that second shot.
LIGHTER CROWN = BETTER WEIGHT DISTRIUTION = HIGHER MOI
By utilzing varying thickness in the head, the crown weight is reduced and that weight is allocated to the lower regions of the head to improve launch, lower back spin and create optimal stability.
Thanks to the peripheral weigh distribution as a result of the lightened crown, the RE14 Fairway wood features a very high MOI of 4020gcm2 which rivals many drivers on the market today. This means a huge sweet spot and very little loss of performance on off center strikes.
CUSTOM 455 MARAGING FACE + DUAL SLIT SOLE
The Quelot RE14 fairway wood uses a high stength Custom 455 Maragaing face. Since maraging steel is more durable and stronger than stainless steel, we are able to create a thinner and hotter face which increases ball speeds at impact.
Like the drivers the FW also uses the Dual Slit design in the sole. The slit stabilizes the head and at same time fine tunes the sound at impact.
SWING WEIGHT ADJUST SYSTEM
The Quelot can take advantage of Geotech’s SWA System (Swing Weight Adjust System) which allows an extension weight of 1-4g to be placed in the hosel of the head This allows club makers to tweak the overall club for length and performance based on each golfer.
