I had to drop into Tokyo today to run a couple of errands. Of course I brought my Sony a33 camera with me. While in Ueno I noticed there were some nice views down the streets of the new Tokyo Sky Tree tower which is currently under construction. I snapped a few shots of this soon to be completed late this year 634m tower which will become one of the world’s tallest. It’s hard to say who has the tallest tower in the world these days. One country builds what appears to be the tallest tower only to be topped by another tower just months later. However its looking good and I wish I had the chance to take pictures of it recently when they did the night illumination testing over the holidays. Looked great on the news.
Afterwards I headed over to Harajuku and Meiji Shrine where there happened to be a wedding going on and I zoomed in for a snap of the bride. Meiji Jingu was still busy even after the new year with people praying and wishing for a great year of the rabbit!

Tario, just great photos. I like the way you have composed them. I just got back from Europe and have spent hours going through and keeping most and getting rid of a bunch of mine.
