Titleist 2016 VG3 Forged Irons

New 2016 Titleist VG3 Forged Irons – It’s here one of the best selling best performing Irons from Titleist’s Japan Only VG3 Series!  Titleist has been producing this line for over 5 years now and it fills the perfect gap between the low handicap player and the golfer who needs more forgiveness without a larger sized head,  This is the pinnacle of Titleist engineering using S45C a Japan designated material FORGED with Tungsten Nickel weighting on both heel and toe sides from #4 thru #7 irons making your long to mid irons nice and easy to hit.

So first thing to note is how the heck do they make S45C feel soft?  Only Titleist knows but they did make Stainless Steel feel soft in their T-MB irons so I don’t doubt them for a second making a Forged JDM material feel even softer.

These irons have a deep undercut cavity that has been CNC milled for more forgiveness and vary in depth between irons,  this increases the MOI by improving perimeter weighting further away from the face of the club.

Titleist threw everything into this club and it shows,  besides the deep CNC cavity #4 thru #7 irons carry a dual  heel/toe Tungsten-Nickel Weighting system to help you get the ball into the air easier,  lower the CG location and ultimately make these clubs more forgiving and work well with the strong lofts for more distance.

To give you an idea of the lofts the PW comes in at 44* which is pretty strong but these weights + low CG design will get the ball up well.  The base set is 5-PW with optional #4 iron available,  Standard shafts include the Titleist VGI carbon shaft in the 60’s gram range in Regular or Stiff Flex along with the usual NS950 in R/S and the DG S200 AMT shaft in Stiff along with a ton of other options TourSpecGolf can custom order you from the Titleist Factory.
