Several weeks ago I found a set of R9 TP Forged Irons burried in a mess of boxes in my garage. It was some customers return that I totally forgot to resell. A few days after Matrix Shaft Co sent us a sample set of Ozik Program 130 shafts 6.0 Stiff Flex for us to review and test. PERFET! This could be a match made in heaven and possibly my next set of gamers.
I would have had them built then but I had a total brain fart, for some reason I automatically assumed the Ozik Program 130 shaft was .370 like most graphite iron shafts on the market. My drill press was on the fritz so I put it off until this morning when I was messing around in the club making room and decided to measure the tips and bingo .355 on the money!
So I’m starting this blog post as a 3 part series on the build, specs, and finally an in depth review. It’s starting to cool down here so expect more testing in the coming months! For now enjoy the pics of the parts…
