When we first announced Seven Dreamers a couple of years ago, customers were both hesitant and curious. 7D’s marketing plan was genius as golf media worldwide gravitated to the headline of a $120,000 golf shaft and that’s all anyone could talk about, that’s how stupid the golf media is and shows how they choose a quick headline over an in-depth feature of one of the most fascinating golf companies in the world. I’m used to it as it’s the same way they talk about Samurai swords and ancient Japan when mentioning anything related to Japanese Golf Equipment. It’s garbage yet amazingly works on the masses.

Back to the topic at hand, Seven Dreamers currently they have a driver, fairway, and hybrid shafts available and in a month or so their putter shaft hits the market followed by iron shafts. TSG has posted many photos and so have our customers showing off their 7D driver shafts but in this thread, we will show you some rare photos of prototypes and even the $120,000 driver shaft. After the jump, please…

In the photo above a close up shot of the upcoming 7D iron shafts they are constant weight and constant cpm’s throughout the entire set,  it’s concept is unique as seven dreamers is able to design all irons to be as easy to hit as the iron you hit the best for most people that is the #8 iron so can you imagine a 4/5/6 iron that’s just as easy to hit?  The actual manufacturing of the iron shafts are extremely difficult to produce even more so than the wood shafts they offer.  These will cost the same amount as the wood shafts per club at $1200 making a set 5-PW  cost roughly $7200.

Above – the Ginza Edition Shaft that features a unique exterior material that seven dreamers has been working on for the player who wants to greatly reduce side spin and lower their trajectory.  This is currently just a prototype but our fingers are crossed it reaches the market soon.

Seven Dreamers for a limited time offered a custom band color graphic on each of their shafts,  this is no longer available but it’s something we would like to see them bring back in the future.

Here you go the $120,000 golf shaft,  it’s really more of a gift for the ultra rich and not suggested to hit.  You don’t only get the shaft you also get the one off metal mold used to make the shaft itself that is where the money is spent  it’s a fantastic chunk of metal you would want to enclose in a glass case and hang on the wall with the shaft making it the ultimate center piece for a billionares man cave.

Above – 7D iron shafts,  a test set loaned to me for evaluation.  I can’t wait for my final shafts to be completed this summer!

A $10,000 dollar golf bag,  well actually with the gator material it’s $12,000 usd  made with a unique T structure with many carbon parts,  there are many custom options available for these bags.

No expense spared to produce these bags,  100% made in Japan.
