As always thanks to our friends at GDO we’ve got live pics of the new GN502 Tour Forged Iron slated for release next month. Last year we saw PRGR release the GN502 Forged iron which was meant to be a forgiving players CB but some athlete golfers as well as PRGR Pros Tanihara and Yano did not play the iron because it was not as compact as they had hoped for.
PRGR decided to create the GN502 Tour Forged iron featuring super soft premium JIS S20C steel and less offset and a thinner topline than the current Forged model. The new Tour Forged is a true forged iron unlike the GN502 Forged which had a forged body but an asroll nickel chrome molybdenum face. The new Tour Forged will feature a consistent CG point across the set and traditional lofts for predictable and workable ball flight.
It will be interesting to see how this iron will appeal to PRGR fans when they are releasing the Limited Edition Endo forged TR500 iron at the same time.
