PRGR EGG Spoon Video Review!

I’ve been getting a lot of inquiries lately about what the PRGR EGG Spoon sounds like at impact so I thought I would take the opportunity to do my first every video review.  Nothing fancy here as I took the pictures and video this morning with a simple Casio Exilim EX-FC100 point and shoot digital camera. I then quickly whipped the video and images together in  Windows Movie Maker. For my first try I’m pretty happy how it turned out. Hopefully my video reviews can get better down the road.

The PRGR EGG Spoon has been out for over a year but is still considered by many as the longest FW in the Japanese market. Its unique sound and feel and amazing performance is attributed to its one of a kind multi piece construction with SUS630 sole and Titanium Face, Crown, Body and neck.  While Ti faces are not uncommon in fairway woods, the use of  Ti in the body and crown is usually something seen in drivers only.

Check out the video below for my description of the EGG Spoon as well as videos of the sound at impact for those interested! (I recommend watching in at least 480P if your connection can handle it, the default 360p sounds underwater….)

This is a great way for us to see and hear new product, much more informative than a few pics & text. Can’t wait to see more.

Very professional presentation without any sales ‘puff”…… nicely done Gocchin!

thanx for doing this video review! i was very curious about that club. dunno whats the deal with people not liking the sound it makes, personally i like it but then again after getting used to Nike sounds anything would sound sort of better i guess ;) it would be nice to see some ball flight in future reviews if its not too much trouble to film it that is.

Thanks for making this video… really helpful being able to hear the sound, its not as bad as I was expecting and as long as it performs thats what counts!

Yeah…you need to do a backlog of video reviews gocchin. Pretty good radio voice too. :p
It sounded really nice, and I actually liked that red placement dot. Go figure.
