Epon is set to release it’s latest players driver Feb. 12th to the global market. The AF-102 is an evolution of the AF101 and further improves on feel at impact, better and more optimal spin rates and revised CG placements to produce a medium trajectory shot that better golfers will appreciate.
The new AF-102 is produced with a thinner, lighter yet stronger crown piece to put the CG at a lower position. Do not thing that it produces a high launch due to a lower CG point as its coupled with a shallow CG depth and deeper face which puts all specifications at a perfect balance. The feel at impact is the closest thing to a persimmon driver sensation that any modern driver can achive and ENDO the parent company of Epon has done this by using head deflection technology and a tapered face thickness. The AF-102 Driver Is Super Precision Forged of High Intensity Titanium Alloy and the face is conforming for PGA Tour Use and USGA sanctioned events.

The AF-102 will be available in 8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 lofts all face angles are stock square except the 10.5 being 0.5* closed. Keep in mind that TourSpecGolf can custom order the face angle +/- 1.5* as well as the head weight +10g to -3g from it’s original weight. This allows the customer to produce a fully organic custom built product. The standard AF102 head weight is 198g making the heaviest possible 208g and the lighted 195g.
This year Epon is using the Graphite Design Tour-AD DI-6 and DI-7 as their standard shaft offerings for this model. As always TSG can have your club custom build directly from the factory in Japan with just about any other shaft or grip you desire. With the Tour AD DI-6 at standard head weight the balance comes out to a smooth D2 and with the DI-7 D2.5.
TourSpecGolf will have the new AF-102 driver much earlier than it’s announced release day and available to TSG members starting on March 8th.

Does Epon say anything about aerodynamics in its advertising of this club.
IMO you can clearly see “aerodynamics” was a driving force (pun) behind the design.
