Many may not know this but TourSpecGolf/GolfToImpress runs over a dozen websites in and out of the golf industry. One of our websites MyGolfClubReviews.com just recieved the top spot #1 ranking in google under one of golfs most important searches “Golf Club Reviews”. This may not sound like much but in the web world it’s a very big deal. Since achieving that milestone the traffic on MGCR has exploded but one very important thing needs to be addressed, What the hell is up with that website?
While the site is visually stunning I must admit I have let it drift for a while, We have had our team insert all the latest products every quarter. MGCR does have it’s fare share of design and interface flaws one example is that over the years golfers have posted thousands of reviews but accessing them on the website is not exactly easy or user friendly. One must scroll through dozen or more pages to find the products they are searching for.
Our success and challenges with this site over the years leads me to ask you guys what direction you would like to see MGCR take. The options are endless and it simply boils down to what the golfer wants to see from the ultimate golf review site. It’s a great looking web site but I think the user interface needs work.
I voted to turn it into a blog like this one.
Im stuck between blog and community portal. I like the info that blogs bring, but at the same time i like the member contributions that a community portal will.
