Mizuno’s all new MP-63 and MP-53 forged irons are now available for full customization from Mizuno Japan (they begin shipping early November). For those of you who don’t know, Mizuno offers a wealth of options for their irons directly from the factory.

All current models in the Mizuno Japan Lineup are available for customization directly from the factory.

This includes the MP-58, MP-68, MP-52, MP-62, MP-57, MP-67, MP-60, MP-32, MP-33, MP-37 and all lefty models like the MP68 and 58 and now the MP-63 and MP-53 as well.

Options include:

Loft 1* either way
Lie 2* either way
Swing Weight C8-D4 (will depend on shaft too)
9 Different finishes, from satin, to chrome to black and variations of those three http://www.mizunoshop.net/cluborder/static/function/about_plate.html (In Japanese but you get an idea of the finishes)
Custom placement and paintfill for Mizuno logos (must have mizuno and runbird somewhere on iron)
Initials/Name Stamping
Custom Grind
Length 0.5″ either way
Shafts (KBS, DG, DGSL, DLG, PX, PX Flighted, Rifle, NS Pro, Graphite Design, Diamana, Fujikura Rombax and Motore, Mizuno Graphite)
Grips (Mizuno, Golf Pride, Lamkin and Nowon No.1)
Number of wraps 1-3

Typically orders take 3-4 weeks and cost depends on the options chosen.

The most popular finish right now is the double nickel satin which is like a double brushed satin finish and is very classy as you can see in the image below. For a custom Mizuno quote please contact us!

    I’m a huge Mizzy fan and the 53s and 63s are in my sights for next year. The customization availability for Mizzy iron offerings is just gravy.

    Are the MP-53 and MP-63 available for customization? – Specifically finishes and stamping? If so, how do I go about ordering these irons and getting a price sheet?

    Looking for MP 63 set in the black finish 4-PW. Also, trying to contact the Mizuno website via email and find English translation. I can only find the website in Japanese. Thanks for the help.

    Hey –
    did you know that Mizuno USA lists Tourspecgolf as an UNAUTHORIZED retailer? Yeah.

    @Geet:

    Yes were aware of that! They do not want you to lay eyes on the MP-Craft, Custom Mizunos, JPX Forged and other Japan Only Gear that trumps the stuff they release stateside.

    So crafty! LOL get it, CRAFTy? Weird though – with the exchange rate where it is and the cost of shipping relatively affordable, buying direct from Japan isn’t that expensive any more, so I don’t know why they still don’t offer more of the Japan releases at the same time in the U.S.

    @Geet:

    The exchange rate doesn’t favor U.S customers, perhaps you have it backwards. Shipping is the same as it’s always been.

    The cost of the driver means that no big box retailer in the U.S will make an order. Thats why JDM brands in the U.S like Fourteen, ONOFF, etc.. are not available at GG, E.Watt’s, etc.. way to expensive even at it’s cheapest.

    @Tourspecgolfer:
    But, standard, regular irons are fairly normally priced. I was looking at the Mizzy and Srixons and doing a direct exchange rate, the price is similar for a stock set. Of course, adding the shipping is what makes it that much more for us over here, but relatively speaking, the prices aren’t THAT bad compared to how it used to be back in the day.
    As for drivers and other fancy woods = why do they have to be so darned expensive. So annoying. LOL
