Miura Giken Japan has just released it’s new Senior premium model named the Hagane Series. As you can see it’s stamped K.M Personal and Mr. Miura wants the market to know that he himself uses these in his late 60’s.
Miura Giken is trying to market it’s fitting system which doesnt focus on the usual things like flex, weight, and balance but rather a fitting that has the golfer hit four #7 irons each with different head weights and grip side weights. They are advertising it must be done at Miura Giken but not to worry because these heads are indeed available to those who want their local club maker to fit them. Expect them in the TSG ProShop soon.
Miura Giken says that Mr. Miura himself grinds these heads himself per order taking about a month each to complete. I’m glad that a company is marketing premium semi players forged clubs to the senior market over other brands that offer mostly hybrids. I’m just not sure on their counter fitting system and also feel that such a good looking club doesnt need so much text splashed across the back face. We counted almost 60 characters on each club head!
One of the most common requests we get for Miura irons is can you remove these words or logos…. Miura Giken irons are nice but are always way too busy when it comes to graphics/words… I’m surprised they have not figured that out yet.
+1 tho you cant see any of that when you actually hit them and they look perfect, as in “just right”, at address. having said that if there was a no graphics option that would have been my choice everything else being equal.
I am just a few years behind Mr. Miura so does it mean I can (at least age qualify) play this set? A true beauty but I need something a bit more forgiving or as T always say, Automatic.

1. I can never seem to find the price for this set. Although, I saw on your website that they cost ¥31,000 per club. Does the price of the set include the personal fitting with Mr. Miura.
2. I notice two small dots on the back face of each iron. What does this signify?

a) do I have to order the complete set, as mentioned above – or can I order only those clubs that I consider optimal for my game?
b) what is the price of these clubs?
