Honma MG613 Driver
In the Master series Honma Golf has just released a new 6 series Driver model MG613. When Honma says masters it’s just a nice way of putting slower swing speed this one here is geared to the player who swings in the mid 80’s-low 90’s when converted to mile per hour. Now I know that may not fit many of the internet golf types but for those of you out there who do have a slower more smooth swing this is another high end option for you to look at.
The MG613 driver features an interesting paint job on its crown with its bronze/copper looking color with its custom design lines that give off the impression of a triangular appearance. The crown is 0.6mm thin which takes a lot of weight from the top to help achieve a lower center of gravity and combined with the design of this head that is supposed to get you the optimum launch angle and spin making it easier to get up for senior golfers.
The face has a new and different shape, more rectangular than other honma drivers which gives the player more forgiveness out on the heel and toe area. The MG613 has rear sole perimeter weighting to provide a high ballistic trajectory. Honma has also designed a new ARMRQ UD45 shaft which is very stable for a lightweight shaft. Made of 6-4 Titanium + Carbon and a face material of 6-4 rolled ti the MG613 comes stock with a 45.25″ shaft in 10.5 or 11.5 degrees of loft. Of course its a 460cc head for max size and very light at C7.
