Honma MG710 Driver
Honma Golf will be releasing its all new 7 Series line of clubs this February 1st 2010.  The New 7 Series is considered part of their flagship and best selling  line up that they offer.

The BERES MG710 is a 460cc driver with a cast 6-4 titanium body yet featuring a lightweight 6-4 Titan ( forged )face to promote further flight and enhance softer feel at impact. Excess weight is removed for the toe end of the sole and repositioned near the heel with two screw weights which greatly improves the center of gravity location over previous models.

Honma is offering 3 types of ARMRQ UD shafts that you can choose from for various head speeds, the UD54 (55g), UD49 (45g), and UD 45 (51g).  All three shafts are new to Honma and each one is available in Regular and Stiff Flex, each shaft is of the 2 star grade.  The lofts available for the new MG710 is 9* & 10* only.

Honma MG700 Irons
The second half of Honma’s new 2010 7 Series is the MG700 Irons made using a body of SUS630 +high strength custom steel (Forged) face and finished in a two layer plated satin.

The technology behind the design includes #4-#8 irons having a 5 gram tungsten weight in the heel and 7 gram in the toe while the #9 thru SW have 5 gram plugs on both sides.  The soft forged steel face that has been added provides a sense of a soft and mild impact.  A gear looking badge in the center of the back cavity differs in size from the longer irons vs the shorter clubs redistributing weight where its needed based on the iron you select for the shot.

The MG700 like the MG710 driver also has a selection of 3 shaft choices but these shafts are design for irons ( UD49, UD54, UD45 ) in Regular and Stiff Flex.
