Golds Factory PuttersMasayuki Sasaya of Gold’s Factory is now offering putters visually similar to what Tiger Woods plays on the PGA Tour.  This putter is based off of the Gold’s Factory Private Stock No.2 Design which in many ways resembles the Scotty Cameron Newport 2.

One of Tiger’s back up putters will cost you about forty thousand U.S dollars while this GF designed version will only cost you 1/40th of that at 1000 USD.  Made in Japan by Gold’s Factory it also features a sight circle, flat blast grey finish at all address locations and a polished sole and face area.  Traditional light milling was used on the face and please remember that if there is something you don’t like about the design Master Sasaya can customize it to your every need.

It’s being offered standard in 34″ 4* loft and 71* lie angle much like Tiger’s original specifications.  The paint fill choice is up to you and based off your selection of color your grip can be matched to the theme even with paint fill in the GF lettering, these pictures show a dark translucent blue effect.  And if you look closely you can see a G logo inside the back cavity large dot.

Stay tuned for more Gold’s Factory Custom Mod Job pictures, Master Sasaya has been doing a ton of aftermarket upgrades for Japan’s top players.

Nice looking putter but why is not modeled after a Ping and after Tigers putter? Afterall, just about every blade putter is a Ping knockoff!

    @Golf Instruction Guy.com:

If every anser putter is a ping nock off then just about every product on earth is a knock off in one way or another.

Taylormade didn’t create the metal wood, is the R9 SuperTri a Knock Off?

Ford created the automobile yet we dont call Chevy’s knock offs do we?

So many examples of why the Ping Clone argument is ancient history.

    Your Message@TourSpecGolfer:

Atleast those example have made the product different. What is different about this putter? So graphical changes and a different material? Wow! That’s REALLY changing and making a product better.

Also, is it a selling point that this is virutally the EXACT same putter as what Tiger uses? Pretty sad effort but if people buy it, can’t knock the idea…

Have a look at the Ping Anser then the PS.No2. See the difference? If you were to look at it in CAD you would see that just about every angle is different.

You should be able to see it with your eye’s very easily.

Only you say it’s virtually the EXACT same putter as what tiger uses. My words are “very similar”. big difference. Newport 2 and PS.2 are very similar as well.

Many people will live and die by the anser putter for their golf game. The logic you provide says they are all playing “Knock Offs”. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Many Gold’s customers request what we call a Tiger style theme on the putter. This is it.

It might be the exact same putter as Tiger uses but the SC equivalent will cost you at least $10,000, but this GF is under $1000…… a big difference IMHO
(NB the Ping version is a lot cheaper but it is not made from the same material nor is it available with a sight dot (important to some).

Having owned a GF putter I know how good they are and this looks fabulous.

Using the same cherry bomb and print as the Scotty Cameron putters is pretty sad though… are you trying to create something “new” as you mentioned or are you just trying to benefit from producing cheaper versions of the Scotty?!?

I mean, the stamping and the cherry bomb…. come on, surely you could have done better ?!?!
