New Fujikura Speeder Shafts

We posted pictures of the Concept Model Speeders back in February from the Tokyo Golf Fair,  It’s been months but finally more info has come to light around these and it appears at least Fujikura in Japan will be releasing these to the public.  Fujikura started off as a hardcore aftermarket shaft brand but then got caught up in the OEM game aka the money game and since then has taken a step back from producing the aftermarket shafts we know they can make.  In this post I’m going to go over all new Speeder models including the 474, 569, 661, & 757 shafts.  Click on to Read more…

757

Hows the cheesy marketing?  Only in Japan :) None of the Specs have been released yet but our sources have revealed that the up coming 757 which will be released this year in Japan is very similar to the original model years back.  The new version will be available in S & X only  in 77/78g weights with a slight increase in torque from 2.5 to 3.0.   Similar specs but different technology.

661

The new 661 is available in 3 lofts SR/S/X and range between 65-69 grams & 3.2 torque.  The old version was 70-76g with a 3.4 torque so in this case the torque decreased.

569

The new 569 available in R/S/SR ranged between 55-59g with torque reading at 4.3 yet they kept the mid kick point for a more penetrating shot.

474

Finally the Speeder 474 which is between 46-49 grams with 5.4 torque geared for the slower swinger or woman.
