Dr.H is one of Tourspecgolf’s most loyal customers and is the current owner of now 3 sets of Yoro Craft Mizuno irons. He appreciates the best in premium clubs and is also has great brands like Crazy and Kamui Works and Gold’s Factory in his bag.  Today his 3rd set of Yoro Crafted clubs were delivered to me or some quick photos and I have to say this is one of the most amazing Yoro sets produced yet. A full combo set with the MP-H4 for a 3 iron followed by MP-54 4-6 Iron and Twilight MP-4 6-PW (yes he ordered two 6 irons due to loft differences – the JDM MP-54 is strong lofted). He then topped them off with RAW MP-R4 Japan model wedges. All the clubs have his name DR.H in Mizuno Blue paintfill on them (on the hosel for MP-54 and MP-H4. The offset was also reduced in all the clubs and all the irons had a W sole grind done on them as well.

Dr.H also had a 34″ Calfornia Del Mar modified by Gold’s Factory going up to 20g sole weights, 3 x arc reactors in the back cavity, original Premium Zone horizontal milling on the face and 3 sight lines. A G mark on the toe and Dr.H’s company logo on the toe face. All finished in Tour Teflon Black and done in Acid Green (which admittedly we had a hard time matching to the acid green brakes on his Porsche).  Photos tell the whole story so I don’t really need to write much more. Wow, amazing looking set! Did Mizuno do custom finish on the MP-54s?

I believe the finish is customized, as requested. Sometimes these type of Mizunos, have those limitations, unlike the blades that can have all the choices. A twilight was requested on all. Except the wedges, they were done raw, for better feel and grip. And James, I specified the loft , lie and every detail on this putter. It sits up better than any putter I have ever tried out. That’s why I wanted it to look so outrageous!! And like Tario said, match my car’s brakes!!!!! LOL

Maybe it’s just the lighting, but I thought the Twilight finish was a little darker? The pictures above give it more of a satin look? As I say, could just be the light, either way a really nice set.

Satin is no reflective and you can see the grain. In this case, it may seem brighter due to the lighting.

Thanks Tario. I thought the Twilight was a reflective finish? The pictures of Dr. H’s MP-63’s and Chin’s MP-64 certainly look that way. Did Dr. H have something else done with the MP-4’s?

Yes Twilight is a mirror finish and completely reflective. DR.H is the same twilight as always but perhaps because I started shooting indoors with brighter lights its hard to see the dark ting and mirror look.

If you check jimmieboi’s set I shot photos of outside that is what Twighlight will look like in natural light.

Just received my clubs from USPS yesterday. Truly the culmination of esthetic function and design. What a great assembly of specification and experience. Thank you Tario and TourSpec. I look forward to putting this set to work on the course this weekend!!!!! I hate to get them dirty!! They are gorgeous!! The putter turned out great. Thank you for all the toil and trouble, it resulted in exactly what I was envisioning. The setup is fantastic. I never knew the lie and loft and other specs could really produce a feel to hit the small stokes, just as in the irons and woods. Every detail was put into this set after the first 2 sets produced. My dream set a reality!! Thanks to Tario and TourSpec!!!

I would like to report of the feel and ball striking of these MP-4s are compared to the MP69s, which are phenomenal I their own right. But these MP 4s are incomparable. Mizuno has taken the muscle back blades to a whole new level. They are awesome. And the Yorocraft customization are beyond words to describe. We have several golfers at my club who have the new Mizuno Mp4s, from the USA Mizuno, Yorocraft, puts them to shame!!

What shaft are you playing in them? Swingweights? Lie/lofts?

I’ll let Tario spec that out for you!!! I did a custom fitting, and tweeked it myself with my Pro, And then with playing experience, And chose, particular shafts and fittings for a proper ball strike. I got the experience of have an older set “Bent” to my swing. Getting the lie and loft proper and then specified that to Yorocraft. My swing speed is 122mph , so I chose the steel Nippon shafts, with a D3 swing weight, and 1 degree strong and a plus offset, meaning it is forward of neutral. along with a W grind. Tario can explain in detail.
