More shots with the Fujifilm x100 Digital Camera. Loving the color. Getting much more used to the fixed lens.

    How are macro shots?

    @Your Name:

    I recommend not using f2 or f2.8 for macros… it seems quite soft unless you want that effect. (admittedly I shot a lot of macros with those apertures).

    Since the min focus distance is 80cm I found myself turning on macro a lot for any smaller subjects or objects that required getting up close to.

    I will post some macro examples tomorrow.

    great, im glad this is a fixed lens so i dont get tempted to go berserk on lenses as i did in my nikon d2x days. was actually considering the leica x1 but found the price too much for what it offered,

    this one could fit the bill nicely! im really considering one.

    I hear you! Its not the body that costs a lot, sure you put down some cash initially but then the lenses are a killer. Nikon lenses are pretty steep! I don’t have experience with the X1 but from what I have read it seems like the X100 is the better value and cost performance choice (at least compared to the X1).
