I’ve finally gotten around to putting together the new PRGR egg Spoon video. The new Spoon was released at the end of August to huge fanfare and the first shipment sold out quickly all throughout Japan. Feedback has been amazing and many publications have again called it the fairway wood to beat just like the first generation model. Several top pros on the Japanese tour, including multiple winning players like Shingo Katayama and Hideto Tanihara are already bagging the club. I’ve already reviewed the club earlier by giving my initial impressions and done a visual side by side with the older Spoon. After bagging and playing the Spoon for several weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that it is as good if not better than the previous model. It is in fact better looking, feeling and sounding.

For those of you who missed the previous posts you can also check out the first generation Spoon video review on GTI as well as the other articles.

Gocchin – are you Canadian? You say OUT in that weird Canadian way. Weird.

I WANT this club. I was just talking about how nice a Cavity Back fairway would be, and here it is!!!!!

It reminds me of the old ‘egg & spoon race’ we used to have at school…….. run a hundred yards balancing an egg on a spoon, the winner was the first across the line with the egg unbroken.

I’m sure it’s great but I couldn;t get over the look at address, I’m too much of a traditionalist.
