A-GRIND Type-D Fairway Wood - The latest creation by A-Grind's Ako-san!

Ako-san designed the new Type-D Fairway wood for the better player who wants an easier time getting the ball up and more forgiveness,  it's made using a 455 stainless face and a 17-4 stainless body.  The CG location is deep and low compared to his other fairway wood designs.

Done up in a beautiful black matte finish and at address it's still fairly compact at 165cc's.  Ako-san's focus is on producing clubs for the JPGA tour player as he does tour service for his own brand most of the year constantly listening to Japan's best players feedback.

it's got a semi shallow face to produce a medium/high trajectory with a stable low spin ball flight,  as I bounced the ball off the face I could tell this one would feel excellent just as his other fairway woods and drivers produce that spongy soft metallic sensation.

Type-D stands for (driving slit tech) this is something you see many brands using now days claiming it creates more rebound,  my 2 cents is that it doesn't but hey it's marketing and it sure does look cool on this design.

Available in 3 lofts 14° / 15° / 18° all three have 1° open face angles stock so wrap it all up this is a forgiving players fairway wood with a mid/high launch and low spin designed to be easy to pick off the turf.
