Geotech introduces it's all new Ti MOI Driver for 2008. This 460cc USGA conforming driver is made for mid to higher handicappers looking for increased distance and forgiveness. The Ti MOI features a low and big center of gravity that creates maximum forgiveness and high MOI even in a traditional shaped head. The Ti face and sole are wrapped in a carbon shell which in effect lightens the heel side of the driver, reducing mishits off the heel where typically maximum distance loss occurs. The Ti MOI also uses a VA screw. VA stands for Vibration Absorbing. This suppresses vibrations and creates a more pleasing feel on impact. At the same time the 10g VA screw helps bring center of gravity back. The Ti MOI is designed to be lightweight at 195g and has a closed face of 1* to promote straighter shots and faster swing speed for the improving golfer. It also features a guard edge design as Geotech calls it which is in fact a blunt leading edge to decrease loss of acceleration when many higher handicap players touch the ground before impact. Available in 4 lofts, the design of the driver actually changes a bit as the loft increase. The body becomes flatter and the face more shallow aas the loft increases. The 9.5 has the deepest face while the 15* has the most shallow. Sold as heads only, no headcover included.
