PRGR introduces the 2013 Egg Bird Driver. It is their latest in forgiveness and distance for the average player. The Egg Bird features the same rounded shape that has made the Egg Bird line of woods very popular. The new version pushes the USGA limit with a barely legal 47" shaft in place. It features a very strong titanium construction with a hot Ti-6AL-4V titanium face made for light weight and superior energy transfer. The new model is made with an ultra thin rolled face design which produces a higher pitch sound at impact that can be enjoyed with every tee shot. The face features the same variable face thickness design to help reduce distance loss on off center hits.
The head is made very light weight at 180g for the 9.5*, 175g for 10.5* and 170g for the 11.5* models to allow for very easy control over the club even at the longer length. It features a square face angle and a full 460cc head for maximum forgiveness and easy alignment. The center of gravity has been made lower than the previous model by adding a tungsten strip towards the back of the sole. This has allowed players of all abilities to easily achieve that strong, high ball flight to achieve great carry distance.
The new Egg Bird driver comes with a stock graphite shaft made with an active tip section for easy squaring of the face at a longer length.
