Taylormade introduces their all new TP Forged Iron for the Japanese market. This soft S25C forging features a straighter toe, more trailing edge relief, a less protruding cavity and a straighter neck than last years model. Taylormade decided to go with a cleaner look with just the TP badge in the cavity for this model and results are stunning! The TP Forged with its compact size and low offet is aimed at the better player looking for feel and control. The new TP forged is finished in a Nickel Chrome Satin and features sand blasted cavity and forged grooves. The face is glass bead blasted for extra bite and friction on contact.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY REGARDING STANDARD SPECS AND UPGRADE OPTIONS:

Taylormade Japan offers the TP Forged 5-PW with NS Pro 950GH R or S and Dynamic Gold S200 or X100 as standard options. Custom shafts from TM include NS Pro 1050GH in S or X flex, 850gh in R or S flex, GS95 in R300 or S200 as well as Project X 5.0 5.5 6.0 6.5.  3 and 4 irons are available at an extra charge.  Only the PX shafts have an upgrade charge because they are more expensive in Japan compared to DG and Nippon.

Ordering a custom shaft or grip or length will take 3 weeks and will be built at Taylormade Japan by a TM Japan Tour Craftsman. The standard length for UPGRADE shafts is a 37.75" 5 iron and around D1/D2 swingweight depending on the shaft. Length can be changed in 0.25" increments up to a MAX of 0.5" either way based on the standard length.

TM offers 6 grip choices with the TP Forged all standard size (only the plain Golf Pride Tour Velvets are available in M58 as well as M60 size. If you want the M58, please select the Golf Pride Tour Velvets and note you want the M58 in the comments section on checkout). Taylormade Original Red Tour Velvet M60 is standard.

This iron is discontinued by TM however we may be able to track a set of STANDARD SPECS down from left over stock in Japan. Please contact us for more details.
