Here's my direct comparison input. I can hit a Callaway FT-3 about 245 to 250 yards. I can hit my ERC Hot about 260 to 270 yards.
And the ERC Hot has a nice bang to it!

I've used a NC R580, R580XD and XR-03 and all are longer (once I've matched the right shaft) vs. US retail.
What's in the Bag:
TaylorMade R580XD TP 9.5° (Speeder 569TR TourSpec)
Sonartec SS-02 14° (Tour Platform 26.3)
TaylorMade 320 3-PW
TaylorMade RAC TP 56°
Cleveland 588 RTG 60°
Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2
Others:
Callaway Pro Series VFT 14° (YS-8.1)
Cleveland 588 RTG 47°, 53° & 56°
Odyssey 2-Ball Blade DFX

The spin rates are a little higher but when you match it together with a shaft that minimizes that you should get a boost in distance.

How do non-conforming drivers, ie Kamui, compare to today's super conforming drivers like the Ryoma?
