In your opinion which CRAZY shaft is arguably produced the best sound and feel? I know this is subjective but I'd like to hear your opinion.
I have tried and used several models such as:
-LY01 older model
-CB46
-Royal Decoration
-FW80
-Crazy Black UTI
and my vote goes to the LY01 the glassy crack sound it generates when you hit the club was pleasant to hear. I don't have this shaft anymore but I truly missed it.

Hmmm. Great questions, i would add distance but guess an earlier post / topic has voted royal dec - i guess it woul all depend on swing type / speed. I currently use :
LY TJ-46
CB 46
Sigma FW50
FW80
Crazy Black UTI
For the big stick, i would say LY wins out in terms of feel / response - which i understand is down softer tip. CB feels tighter & takes greater effort to swing, but gives me better control, hence better dispersion. Distance I feel is the same.
Just started using FW80, so cant really judge.........yet. Been using sigma fw50 fr a while now, all i can say is it goes long, penetrating. Feels solid & in control. FW80 feels softer more responsive.
Crazy uti - unbelievable, almost iron like control / trajectory with rockets strapped on.

Sorry, to add - not convinced royal dec is suited for me although i have read its longer than LY & CB46. Unless there is a game changer out in 2012, guess i will stick to my present shafts & work on the swing :-)

Played the following shafts:
LY01 older model
LY01 NERO
FW 80
CB46
Best feeling shafts are LY01 and LY01 Nero. LY01 (older model) ist counterbalanced and gives a very good kick. For shorter clubs (44-44,5 inch) or lighter driver heads LY01 Nero could be the better choice getting more swingweight. Both shafts are very easy to load. LY01 Nero is my gamer (in Kamui).
Very interested to see how LY01 and LY01 Nero will perform in my coming Ryoma head...
With both shafts (LY01 , LY01 Nero) I got a much better feeling and much more distance compared to CB46. CB46 is maybe better with club length > 45 - 45.5. More a hitter type shaft.
FW80 is a very very good shaft, too. With Egg spoon it is the perfect 3 wood shaft. Long and very straight. More about control than LY01 / LY01 Nero.
As I understand Royal Deco is also a very good kicking shaft, if you like to play +46´´, but never tried it.

How does LY01 and Royal Decoration compare? What lengths do/did you play?

ive used ................,
crazy black 50 cb50---- (new one)
in my yamaha tour 2012 head. this will never e ver come out. over all disatance , flight , trajectory stingy feel, my most complete crazy shaft. love p[laying this thing , i get those high soaring bombs i normally dont go for in favour for the low scuttlers. but in japan ,this thing is just peerless
LY 01---
thought its was light , realyl taught and the ebst shaft i nthe jbeam 435 at 46 inch tho i ddint like the length of it, impossible to over power
crazy black 50 ( original) --
hard to make go left ,in my 2010 yamaha tour head, this was the best shaft , nice kick and over all very electric feel
crazy black 80 ( original)--
in my jbeam 425 tour ad infinitum, these suite like red wine and cheese bit tighter flex than the 50 prob not as long , but more accurate (i think)
crazy black 80 ls noir --
the most overall accurate shaft i have , it must be , itend to miss the fairway the least when this comes out in my ryoma adn yamaha tour 2012 heads, dont find it overly long, but ultra relaible
crazy 50 sigma---
heavy beast. feels like ita a mid kick ,can feel the sling thru the ball when i have a crack at it.
still under ref on this one, in my rrazy 425 solid contacts right now. they seem prety happy together, tends to go high but strong
crazy black ls 2---
the lowest shaft iver ever hit. the worm burner, took thisthing in a crazy 450 to hawaii and the ball didnt get more thna head high the entire time. great over there, not so good in japan tho. felt like hitting a piece of railway sleeper shaving, "crazy" stiff. but in a good way.
crazy boron---
just had a cpl of hits with this played bad and well with it,
feels a bit softer than i expected at first, then after a few whacks it felt perfectly fine. just gettign used to it , but itink it will be ok, its in my epon 101 at the moment, pretty sure this will be ok, ranging it tonight to make sure. not dissimilar to the diamana stinger maybe a touch softer.
crazy 80fw and UT
both the best there is no question about it ,everyhing about these are awsome
best of these???
the ute shaft, thes driver shafts are just so close ,its allrealtive to what u need, but the ute shaft.
man oh man thers is nothing anywhere close to it.
these are in a cpl of tour edge exotics i have and the differnce i nthese compared to the altus matrix thing??
oh there is NONE. the crazy blows the matrix of the planet. the differnce is startling,
but if ihad to make a choice in driver shafts id say that crazy black 50 in my yamaha tour this yrs is just lovely, they noir is one i shoud use in comps , but that sling offt he face , the 50 gets the nod.

I played LY01 at 45.5 and Royal Deco at 46.5.
Actually, I played Eca's Royal Deco and my CB46 side by side during one of our golf game, however, I will compare only the LY01 vs Royal Deco. In terms of feel, LY01 had that glassy crack sound which is my preference, Royal Deco feels smoother due to the softer butt profile. For distance, LY01 is probably longer - I believe this was due to the fact that i'm hitting the LY01 straighter as opposed to a fader for the Royal Deco. LY01 provides tighter dispersion and better control, Royal Deco wasn't bad at all being at 46.5" length. I probably have better result with the LY01 but I guess not everyone have the same swing profiles.
