I have a crazy black utility shaft that was pulled from my XCG3 hybrid - it was getting dust in my garage. It was pretty much ordinary for me when I used this on the XCG3 that's why I replaced it with Matrix Xcon 8H which in turn worked much better. On the other hand, when I bought my Epon AF-901 utility, it has the stock shaft Nippon NSPRO utility 950GH, I have used this for a while but in the end I figured it wasn't for me and then tried the KBS C-Taper I didn't like that either. Obviously I have issues with both shafts, I can't control them and usually was getting a bit short in distance. I think the KBS C-Taper was meant for irons maybe not that good shaft for utilities. So, again as a trial and error - I pickup my crazy black utility and put this on the Epon AF-901, it was installed by my club builder. The combo ended up with D1 SW. When I first hit this in the driving range it felt like a bit light but so easy to swing.

This combo is now one of my favorite club in the bag, easy to hit, longer than my previous setups, felt really good everything I want from the sound and feel, love this off the tee. I guess what I learnt here and understood now is that finding the right combination (shaft+head) is crucial to your game and once sorted = more enjoyment to playing golf.

Certainly worked! Amazing how different heads matches up better with certain shafts.
Shame u decided to do 4wheel driving over your fw80, that would have been a good experiment with the Ryoma F3 :)

Yup exactly as Channa says Out of this World! I have one in an Epon 902 hybrid. High and dead straight all day.

On a day with no wind it's key, with wind it still flies pretty straight considering its mid/high launch. I'll be posting a review Tatsuro did on that combo on facebook in a day or two.
