Thanks P, bit of experimentation there :)
I might still try the R+ hardstepped as it seem to me that it will prOvide a lower flight than a sofstepped S as Carlo suggested. Heck I might do flighted style and only hardstep the 7-pw.

Yes I can now say the C-Tapers are the best shafts ever for me.

Ahh great timing P! ooh on VG3, very nice! Did it lower your flight? Stiff softstepped? do tell :)
I just commited to new set leaning towards hardstepped R+, builder says Stiff straight in but i like the 115g class like the project x 5.5. He said fine.

E,
Here's how the FCM #s
R /5.2 110gs
R+/5.7 115gs
S soft stepped 5.9 120gs
R+ hard stepped 6.0 115gs
S/6.2 120gs
Dynamic gold S300 is 5.8 for reference.
Good luck, they did lower my flight on a normal swing. If I need to hit it high I just swing down hard

Thanks! I picked right then, getting built as we speak with R+ HSx1 coming from KBS tours stiff and project x 5.5 prior.

E,
How's the shafts working? I thought you should go R+ straight in unless you were looking for stiffer.

Hey P,
Went R+ HS x1 across to bring up to project 5.5/S300 level or a touch firmer.
Shipped from US Monday via express mail int'l so maybe end of week or early next week.

I am currently using the C Tapers S+ in a new set of heads. I previously, and still have, the Yonex Cyberstar Forged irons that have the original PX Satin 6.0 in them. I love those irons and am keeping the set around. I had a new set of the Cyberstar heads that I've been sitting on and fitted the KBS on them last week so I can make a side by side comparison. Ball flight on the shorter irons is definitely lower than the orig PX. Mid irons about the same but the long irons are lower and flatter but for some reason the ball gets up easier with the C Tapers although not flying as high. Distance is really about the same so 5% longer is going to be a stretch for most I think. I find the feel quite good and I cannot decide if the short irons are less responsive in the tip than the PX or not. For sure it's a different feel but I need to spend a bit of time out on the course with both shafts hitting the same shots. The only thing I can say that is in any way negative is the shaft looks thicker than the PX at address. The finish on the KBS makes it look thicker than it actually is but when I first used the Satins I thought they looked odd too but got used to them over a short time. I'm sure the KBS will look good pretty quick. In the end the C Taper is a very good shaft compared to the original satin. Way better than the current PX and I think best suited to a ground loader as opposed to a picker of the ball. If you're a picker there are better options out there.
Strange how I missed reading your post. Thanks so much. I think your assessment of this shaft is spot on.

After 2 rounds and 1 rushed range session, it's very early to jump into a conclusion but I've got a big smile after today. I am also still getting used to the Baby Blades size. My ballflight has definitely come down. I have to get a few more outings then i'll let you know.

P, Mizuno MP-68 with KBS Tour Stiff. Nice irons, just hit it a bit high coz head is too helpful and shaft is high initial launch. Baby blades, after the initial size intimidation is actually easy to hit. WIth the same static weight as normal size irons, it is quite dense and it packs a punch. I went 202CB with 3iron for safety.
