Epon hands down the best!!! I still owe Tario and Chris a review of the irons they helped me get this past year (Epon 302/701 combination). I couldn't be happier and I've REALLY played every US OEM made and I am a JDM guy all the way after gaming these sweethearts!!!

Out of the poll, I've only gamed Epon irons w/c are top notch. You really have to add Yamaha into the mix. Their Inpres X V Forged Tour Ltd. irons are awesome. The GF MBs are sweet with a pure strike. So many quality choices out there...
Epon AF-151 10.5*/ Crazy Black 46
Royal Collection TRC Utility 20*/ Crazy Black Utility
Shinagawa Raw Cavity Backs 4-PW/ Nippon NS Pro 999GH

Epon hands down. Endo's personal brand! i like that they keep things simple by having 4 models of irons
3 drivers 1 wood etc etc. and release new models only every 3-4 years. have been gaming their irons
since the type x and have been hooked.

on a side note i would say that pretty much anything endo produces is top notch. for other brands i also
love the yamaha inpres line and yonex nanovs!

.. epon.. kyoei v muscle.. miurasim.., off the top of my head. im yet to game yamaha which is EXTRORDINARY for me given my untold love for thier woods.
but that will most def change this yr im hoping BOGEYDOG has a set of the 08s sitting around in a corner....., but really of these..,
it wouldnt matter which one was in my bag. shafted with super peeening blue s
its down to splitting hairs.
on lush grass the epon range is simply unmatchable.
on tight cropped kai, the kyoei out on thier own.
for moving around and placing balls miura blades are the king.
horses for courses.,
so

Well yes I would say add Yamaha to the group. Designed by Yamaja but forged by Endo. There is a recurring theme here.

Supo + Spoon - the 08s I had went to TourSpecGolfer. As dicussed on another thread, the 2011 is equally as nice. Alough the 2009-2010 were nice as well, the 08 aand 11 are the best.

I echo Supo67 Miura is great at working the ball.
When stroke pure it is a delight.
For pure softness Yururi raw black is another understated gem.
I have been wanting to pull the trigger on the zestaim Fi2.
Would anyone know if kyoei is going to bring out a new blade?

Epon is the best i've ever hit. Miura MB-5003 is very solid. Mizuno MP-37's very nice as well. I'd like to hear how the Saqra?, Kyoei Zestiem, Miuraisms, Pro Preference Model and Gold's compare. Anyone???

miuraisms ive hit, my buddy has a set. they are very good for target practise, very small, but a slightly difffernt grind to the 1957.
made for japan conditions bit sharper and the lofts are a bit differnt form memory cant think which way tho. very very nice blades, funny thing is being that small actually makes the ball get framed better in my mind . its NOT harder to thit the ball in fact i think it might be easier to hit the centre.
they are very workable. low flight. the pw is THE BEST pw i nany set ive ever seen, its perfect., unfortunatly my mates are shafted with dgs200, which i dont like.
but over all yea the y look great. play well , veru very good irons. seriously pricey tho!

ive hit the saqra and the pro preference model. the pro preference in black is are quite soft and probably the best blade i have ever hit.
if my handycap was low enough they would have stayed in the bag , if there was a blade i would love to bag when i have the game it
will be the PPMs. the saqras are ok, for the price you cannot go wrong but i find them on the harder side. when i mean hard they are
more tingy and solid as opposed to the marshmallow like feel of epon.

both the ppms and saqras were co designed and projects of golf guru niimi kiyonari, i know the ppms were handground by shinagawa san
og himeji. i dont know who forged them tho, maybe kyoei?
