Quadra is a lot bigger than Crazy. As I mentioned many times here they are suppliers of carbon sheets to many top manufacturers. So it's natural they can offer a lower price.
Crazy prices are high as they need to source the carbon from someone like Quadra and also because there is a market for Crazy. They have a very hardcore following of golfers in Japan who don't hesitate to pay.
There is something else people here have not considered and that is how much material is used in each shaft. How many plys of 50t carbon sheets? Full lenth or not? How tight is the weave? What is the weave pattern? All these things will affect the cost.
Attas by the way is made in Bangledesh.

So what IS actually going on with Superio? I actually went out and bought the FW 36T shaft around 6 months ago, just took a gamble, and it's the best shaft I have ever used in a FW. It plays very stout though, I usually plax Xstiff but this shaft was very much enough for me in stiff flex..So now there is an 80T version..? Looks promising..To comment on Tario's comment about how much 50 or 80T is used and so on, it actually says "full lenght" on Superio's homepage. Wouldnt it be totally amazing if this brand can come out with another "fake" shaft and get away with it? One thing to consider: Exactly why should Superio tell TSG or anyone else for that matter who makes their shafts? What if it's a trade secret, what if they don't want to explain that their graphite comes from this ot that place, and is being made by this or that company, situated in that prefecture, and the adress is this, and the sales manager's name is this. Now go ahead and copy our business..Is it normal procedure to always give a detailed list of your your suppliers and sources for materials?
I don't know, maybe it is.
But, seeing that Quadra is about the ONLY maker of 80T graphite in Japan, or at least one of very few producers it should be easy to find out where Superio get their weave from and if their shafts are indeed made in Japan or in Thailand. I have a gut feeling the weave might be from Japan and the actual manufacturing of shafts are done in Thailand..?
