I went ahead and did a write up on GTI about it and here ya go:

New Diamana 'ahina Shaft
Mitsubishi Rayon is set to release their all new Diamana 'ahina shaft in Japan on October 16th. The Diamana 'ahina features a similar bend profile to the original white board and utilizes the same Multi-Dimensional Interlay technology (M.D.I) as the more recent Kai'li model. The combo produces a very stable low launch low torque shaft designed for maximum stability and control.
The 'ahina shaft maintains great feel via a very soft butt section and keeps its control characteristics from a stiff tip and center section. It's the natural progression after the white board and kai'li and appears to be targeting PGA Tour players or the strong amateur level golfer.

The new Diamana 'ahina will be available in three weight configurations 60, 70, and 80 grams with a variety of flexes. Diamana says the lighter weigh 60 gram model is a good choice for players with a smooth tempo looking to create more head speed off the tee. The 70 and 80 gram versions will feature more stability via a stiffer tip section for the more powerful player.

Above there are two charts, one showing the bend profile of the new Diamana'ahina shaft, the chart shows that of the 'ilima and kai'li the new 'ahina features the softest butt section and stiffest tip section. In other words expect great feel and a tight trajectory.
The second chart shows the 'ahina starts out just as high as the 'ilima yet notice that it stay's on a flatter more stable trajectory to eventually end up the lowest of the bunch.

What does 'ahina mean?
The next generation Diamana 'ahina is named for a rare Hawaiian Silversword flower which grows only on Mount Haleakala. This plant, found only on the island of Maui, lives on the slopes of the dormant Haleakala volcano and is literally called 'ahinahina in Hawaiian. The Silversword is most noted for its Silver Bloom and has been considered an endangered species since 1922.

Good eye Goodsie! My guess was that it may be the exact same except with their new MDI tech in it.
They reference it yet don't show a comparo.

a cpl of reps were picking up a stash of the latest and greatest , literally getting made in front of me , so my friend says here give him a hit ,see what he thinks. only got to hit it into a driving net and no more than 20 shots, but that was enough to give me a feel for whats coming in oct!
its almost like u cant feel the ball! it has almost no flex and the most dynamic kick ive ever felt , its not like something ive hit previous rediculoulsy stiff but something in it doent make it feel like a steel pole, i hazzrad a guess its the butt., its not like any other diamana i can think of BUT I HAVNT HIT THE WHITE BOARD...,
unfortunatly......, i wasnt allowed to take one home..,
i think the mega drivers amongst us , are going to absolutely love this shaft, i think u can swing at 180 mph and itll still go straight, thast the impression i got.
its great looking thing as well, kinda ali'islei/ stinger esque with the semi circled diamana logo.
i hit the 70 x with the dagalo head and l loved what was in my hands. ,oh with the uber newest grip out.
cpl of picys to whet ya
bon apetite.
again diamana are really onto something here.

after seeing the pic i thhought, MR S did it again but realized he did not get to take it home hehe
nice description, i have never hit a whiteboard as well but have heard that its stiff but has an incredible
kick, how was the 70x compared to other shafts? could you see yourself playing this shaft? was it
crazy stiff compared with say the the GD's in x?
i have a couple of shaft experiments tom unfortunately they are not diamana:(
