I have an excellent Club Refinishing guy that I asked to paint my Rife Barbados Putter with White paint. He just brought it back today. We went straight to the Putting Green and I've got to tell you the contrast is terrific and very pleasing to the eye even on a bright sunny Texas day. He did not use a glossy paint so there is no reflections or ghosting...just perfect. You have got to try this little tweak....I think it is a neat new trick and it looks pretty chic, too.

I have placed this Putter in my Game Bag and fully expect to win all the Skins in our game on Friday Evening. Waaaahoooo!!!

After several rounds of using my "White" Rife Barbados Putter, I have found that I am actually putting better. Is it the white paint job?? The Putter still feels the same striking the putt, the distance control is still about the same, so what is it....well, I'm "on line" much more now, especially with the long putts. The white putter head is much easier for me to line up correctly because of the nice contrast of the white head against the green of the grass. I like it!!

I've had five customers get their Putters painted after demo'ing my Putter and they are putting better also. Something good is going on here!! Now, while working on Clubs in Doc's place and watching the Memorial Tournament on TV, I've noticed several Pro's using a White Putter...one of them is in second place as I type this. White is Right....

A white grip and a white Putter head could be pretty stylish whether it works or not. Ha!!

A buddy of mine got his done by BOS and they used the polymer finish. It came out really nice and it seems like the finish will stand up well. I have always preferred the bead blasted stainless finish over the black finishes in the past so it probably would make sense for me to make the move to white.

Thanks for the feedback!

Curious if anyone is still gaming theirs & if this whole white business actually works.

I tried one in a golf shop & I found it awkward staring down at a white putter head.

I am still using my "White" Rife Putter and it is firmly in the Game Bag. The White paint job does offer an excellent contrast when addressing the ball and I find it easier to get the right line. This whole White business actually works for me....granted it took a bit of getting used to it as I found myself staring at the White Putter head instead of the ball, then I realized that the "hand, eye coordination" thing definitely worked better when I looked at the ball......Duh!!!. I am having my AF102 Driver head finished in White by my Refinish guy....can't wait to put that thing out on the Course.

how much will it cost? i want to have my egg spoon refinished in white bead blast. as you know the egg seems to have two finishes shiny and matte. the cavity in the crown
is dull matte almost bead blasted. the 102 might also be a good idea.

My "Refinisher" does heads for $45.00USD. He is meticulous as all get out.
