So the end of the story (so far), is that I did order the GF protos and were more beautiful than I imagined and so it's even more heartbreaking that they just don't feel like they're for me. I need a heavier head and offset that is near non-existent. There's a teeny bit on those clubs and my eye just can't get used to it. My plan is to pull my pured and flo'd KBS Black Nickel 6.5's from the heads and put them into another head. So far the top contenders are the Tourstage 901 and the AF Tours, both being fairly low on the offset and both heavier than standard Japan issue models.
Has anyone played a set or even both?
