Hi,

I got these irons back in 2003. I hit only the pw, 7, 5, and 4 irons. After hitting them I recognized my game was not good enough for these. I put them aside and now I need to sell a few of my sets are gathering dust. The irons have the Precision Rifle 6.5 FCM on them.

I know what I paid for them back then but if you have any idea what I should be asking for them now so I can get them on the market.

If you could PM what I should be asking for these irons so I can get them on the market------thanks for your help.

That's a great looking set of irons. Let me know what you find out, I'd be curious to see.

I sold a set of these for 375.00 last year. Those should get at least 375 to 400 I would hope. Thats a great set or miura forgings.

2003 TM cb's weren't all forged by Miura, the Miura forged had a shaft band reading "assembled in Japan". This starts the questio-When did Miura stop forging for TM. I believe it was 2005 when even some of the tour sets could not (would not) be confirmed by TM. So they may be forged by Miura or they may not (2005). I happen to own both these sets of irons and I smile when someone on the "bay" says Miura forged.

I may be wrong but I thought one of the ways (other than the sticker) to tell if they were from Miura was if they said coin forged on the hosel. When they said CB it wasn't a sure thing.. Mine say coin forged and had the japanese sticker..

Over the years I think the only totally Miura forged TaylorMade iron was the original Firesole Forged. The 300 series and the 300 FCX protos were made all over like the RAC CB, RAC MB and RAC CB/MB combo sets. I even had a set that had forged in Mexico on the labels..
