This is a club that never made it into Titleist's consumer lineup but was the hot thing to have a few seasons ago (E-Bay being the primary source). I had a 17° briefly but couldn't afford to keep it given what I was offered for it when the supply dried up.
To me, it was a very high quality fairway metal but no magic wand or anything like that. The shaft was too tip stiff for me and I tended to hit line drives, albeit straight ones, even with the generous 17° loft.
I think it was just the cachet of being a tour issue that made this club so attractive, but I'm curious if anybody else has had experience with it.

A permanent 2 of 14 in my bag , have a 13 & 17 deg a weapons of choice from fairway & tee ( when needed) . I know that they have sweetspots the size if dimes or 5 pence pieces over here in the UK , but I have to say that I have tried other FWs' & always come back to these .
Have a 13 , 15 , 2 x 17's & a 20 ! .................sad ............................I know !
Do not really care about the value , prob paid over the odds for them , but hey you are a long time dead !!!!!
Interested to know if they are used by those who are lucky to own them , or are they now classed as vintage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........like Me!! LOL .
