I'd like to see what gets the best reveiws for a new driver this summer. Tell me what you consider to be the best. I've been really considering the Hi Bore, how does this stack up to the other drivers listed?

Tried all of the above except for the Nike SQ and the X Speed, I like my Bridgestone J33R 460cc the best. They're all good drivers but something about the Bridgestone makes it work better for me.

I'll second that. Tried most of the above except for the NVG2 and the r7 460. A few of those are a bit more forgiving and the r7 425 tp was a couple of yards further but nothing compares to the feel of my J33R 460. You just can't go wrong with the Bridgestone.

I will third that. I have tried most of the drivers above but nothing compares to the feel and control of my J33 460. May be subjective but I love the sound of the J33 also. Never thought anything could knock out the Cleve Comp, but the J33 did. The J33 is a very under rated driver that doesn't get a lot of noise but is definately worth a look. Had the stock NV, but just got the Ozik Altus installed, and the combination is unreal. Did not gain a lot of distance because of my slow SS of 98, about tens yards, but the Ozik is a fairway finder. The Ozik also added loads of feel to a driver that already has it. I now have the confidence to go after it with this combo without hesitation. Paul a shreveport built the driver for me. I highly recommend this combination.

There's really no way of me trying or getting fit for one of these drivers at my local shop here. I've heard so much about it, but alot of people say different things about all clubs, not just this one. If I wanted to try it out, it wouldn't be avaible to me, so that's why it's not listed.

All the drivers listed there are ones I can try and get fit for, so if you guys could pick one out of that batch specifically, what would you say?

nike sasquatch 9.5* with ust v2-65 stiff.

just an absolute combo. played 72 holes this weekend with 36 in 25+ mph winds, and 36 in 15 mph winds and this driver is awesome. i can throw the ball high for the down wind shots and i can keep the ball and penetrating for the shots into the wind. you can pull a little draw and a little fade, but this thing just wants to go straight down the fairway. even better, is that the head is so stable and so easy to square that you can swing with everything you hve and still make great contact.
whats in the bag:
nike sasquatch w/ v2 65
nike t-60 w/ rifle 5.5 tipped 1/2"
nike slingshot tour 18* w/ rifle 6.0
nike pro combo 3-pw w/ rifle 6.0

So far, what I've derived from your comments is that the UST V2 65 is a great shaft. I didn't like the 75 that's stock in the 905 R because it was a little heavy and the torque just a tad too low. But the 65 has the weight I like. Keep the reveiws coming guys!
