accra tour 70 is a very good shaft for just about all swings. the 60 gram mode is best for the smooth swingers but the 70 has a little more pop to it and can handle the quick swings.. the accra SC model is more for the higher swing speed player with wuicker hands i think.. these shafts have a real silky feel to them much like the >> fujikura, aldila and graphite design shafts. www.accragolf.com for much more indepth info. the tour 70 gave me a higher launch angel than the sc-75 but both gave excellent control and really nice length.. just info..

Ken,
Question for you on the Accra shafts. How do they compare to NV's (silky), GD shafts (softer than stated flex), and Fuji (brittle but point-n-shoot) specifically the SC-65 and SC-75? Any help would be appreciated. |

The Accra's are very nice shafts.
They play "softer" in the tip than the Fuji's, but as tight if not tighter in dispersion compared to the Fuji's. IMO, they blow away YS series, and the NV is really no match either. They are expensive but if you are looking for a low torque # without giving up and "feel" in the head, they are worth a try. :money: You don't need to buy the $400 SE, although it is awesome, The "tour" series is very good value for the lower price point. Just my .02$ G$ |

rx,
the SC series has a little more beef than the tour series.. BUT still has a smooth feel to them.. flex is what they say it is.. not like the softer YS-LINE. the sc shafts provide a more medium ball flight - unless you move the ball back some than you can get the higher launch.. the tour series provides a high flat shot.. i've hit the 65 and 75 sc shafts and would compare them to >> vista tour, 757, nv 75,purple ice.. feel is smooth with an edge in the SC shafts.. hope htis helps... |

I have used both the Accra Tour 70 and the SC 65 and absolutely love them both. They have both been in my driver and reduced my dispersion immensely. I would recommend these shafts, particularly the SC, to anybody with a 110+ mph tempo swing. Better to me that 757's, or any fuji for that matter.

For some reason Titleist did not approve Accras to go in Titty heads. :fever:

i currently have tried the sc65 in both driver and 3 wood and the t60 in driver. i got excellent feedback of both shafts both were very very tight and surprisingly long.....actually saw the ball run out!
the diffference i felt was that the tour 60 felt more boardy than the sc65, IMO had less feel and hit the ball on a high trajectory. the sc65 on the other hand had a little kick to it, but not a destructive one..... |

Was recommended this shaft for my driver. Any thoughts from anyone. I am having a difficult time finding dealers for it. Just curious what some users have to say.

From the Mamiya/UST family. It's a love it or hate it shaft.
Lots of stuff on it here. Do a search for ACCRA. Best, SFG BTW, if you provide your swing details and desired outcomes you can get more specific feedback as to the match. |
