I tried the BB Red's first (3 rounds).
Distance: great, definately 10yds longer than range balls. Spin: holds greens from 150yds in (one short hop and stop). Putting: ball feels very firm, not like a rock (Pinnacle Power Cores or Top Flights). BB Blue's (3 rounds) Distance: okay, about the same as range balls. Spin: holds greens with everything- 3i stops about 10-15' from pitch mark, 5i on down is a one hop and stop. Putting: ball is very nice, not too soft (Maxfli M3's) not too hard (Red's). I play the Blue's right now. Iron approach shots are like throwing darts when my swing is on. More consistent putting with the Blue's too. Other balls I've tried: Pinnacle Power Cores, Maxfli M3's, Top Flight XL2000's, Wilson Smart Cores. |
