I played several rounds with these wedges and I particularly liked the 57* it was very versatile for my short game. The first thing i Noticed is how the finish was not a Black but rather a Drk gunmetal type look. I am always interested in flat black finishes that are durable similar to the Cleveland gunmetals and these to my surprise were among the best finished wedges I have ever seen. The face is a little different also its CNC milled with no mill marks and computer milled grooves with hand ground edges of the head, no sandblast but rather a flush look to the grooves. I played 2 S400 shafts and 1 Dynalite in the wedges and all seemed to play darn good. The heads are not big they are on the verge of compact and small, its more of a round shape also. These wedges I would personally rate low in forgiveness, the spin was crazy it checked and would bite up no trouble. The differences in trajectory were all based on the loft and shaft but overall i liked the Dynalite it had a higher ball flight with a little more distance and spin on the ball. At first i thought this was just another cast Wedge but then found out they were forged and CNC milled in the most famous and respectable steel forging community in Japan. Its actually got a lot of work into it and that would explain the price but this wedge does have all the right qualities as a premium forged players wedge.
