beleive the hype, this is the 1st driver ive ever hit that really delivers what it promises.

it isnt a majic wand or a "longest driver ever" type of gimic. what it does is deliver excellent control while acheiving very respectable distance. you can still slice and hook it, so it not a cure for those ailments.

all you have to do is point it in the direction you want to go and put a decent swing on it, and you are rewarded with a nice long blast that seems to find the shortgrass more times that not. its the closest thing to a true "point and shoot" driver that ive seen.

since they are all custom assembled you dont have to worry about getting a generic "stock" shaft, pick want you want and youre done.

most heads seem to be slighlty closed, mine measured square ( i do address the ball with it slightly closed manually though).

current setup:
10.5
Fujikura Tour Release 27.3

Duff,

How forgiving is the Gemini compared to your Cobra 440?

Thanks

they are both very forgiving but the gemini is better on mis**ts. the cobra has a hotter "feel" at impact but the end results are about the same.

Completely agree here. After having the 983E in my bag forever, nothing could kick it out, I thought.... I've been testing the KZG now for a week. It's as long or longer and it is more consistent than the E. I relax a lot more now driving and I go after it without worrying as much about accuracy. Still playing with shafts for this and always trying stuff out but this is a great driver IMHO.

Update: Still have the Gem, but the Launcher Comp is kicking it's butt. Almost as forgiving and longer. I attribute much of it to the work that Joe Kwok did on it. The shaft is a R flex too. The Gem has a S flex.

I LOVE my Gemini 395! It's the best driver I've owned. But I don't think everyone should own one, I'm greedy and I want to beat everyone who is playing Taylor Mades, Callaway's and especially those Titleist freaks.

It's a stiff flex.

I have to agree, the kzg gemini is the real deal. Mine's the 460 gemini with a Fuji 757 speeder tour spec X-flex. It BOOMS it out there . Ball flight is a mid trajectory draw that keeps going.

I didin't think I'd find a driver with this kind of power and control, it's the best driver I've ever hit.

Just got a Gemini 395 shafted with a Grafalloy Prolite 35 S flex. It's a flex down and a good deal lighter than my R510/Purple Ice combo. Swingweight's D3 about right for my swing speed. Haven't hit it yet but I'm amped!

The demos I hit were really forgiving on mis**ts can't wait to see what one fitted for me will do.

I played the Gemini in the pro-am of the local Asian Tour stop last week. The Grafalloy prolite 35 in it is light and lively at impact. It doesn't go all to pieces if I step it up either (SS 105-109). The Gem is loud at impact, almost as loud as many non-conforming clubs. Gives you a sense of power off the tee. It's very stable when hit off-center, not light or tinny at all. Very satisfying when flushed. And it's long. This combo is as long as any I've played. And I'm not working as hard to get the distance, it's done wonders for my score. As handsome too (burgundy and black, mmmm... classy!).

Need to note that I did change my swing a bit now more swinger of the club than hitter of the ball. Just shows what putting yourself in the hands of a competent fitter can do.

Being a KZG dealer I can tell ya that the Gemini is the REAL DEAL.

Does it work miracles? Nope.

Does it instill confidence? yes.

Does confidence create a calmer player and more relaxed swing? Yes.

Does a more relaxed and confident swing develop more distance? Yes.

They ARE the real deal.
