What's in the Bag?:
Epon 460 9.5 w/ Japan Diamana Whiteboard Stiff
Epon AF-201 3-Wood w/ Mach Line FW75 Stiff
TaylorMade V-Steel 7-Wood Tourhead w/Fuji ZCOM Pro 80
Mizuno JPX E500 4-PW w/ Nippon NS Pro 950 Stiff
Epon AF 56, 60 w/ Nippon NS Pro 1150 Stiff Softstepped 1X
Custom Gold's Factory PS#2 w/ Premium Zone Insert

I spent about two hours last week hitting my 56 and 60 degree AF wedges at the local Golfsmith. I was hitting off a mat and a lie board as the wedges need to be tweaked slightly flatter. Anyhoo...

OMG! The wedges were literally tearing the covers off of Titleist and Callaway practice balls. After each shot, I had to pick pieces of surlyn out of the grooves... I have a feeling that I might need to have more than a few extra balls in the bag this year!

i agree with you guys. i posted some pics of the wedges tearing up ball covers. in time they will be less sharp but still have the ability to spin the ball. one of the best wedges imho.

yup, it's common. i shred with my scratches, chikaras, epons, and clevelands.
it's really annoying when it rips up your new prov1 and when it spins too much on the green.
